Epcot: Future World, part 1

"Like a grand and miraculous spaceship, our planet has sailed through the universe of time. And for a brief moment, we have been among its many passengers." -Spaceship Earth

Epcot is full of adventure. It has the world showcase and many more exciting attractions. When you walk into the park the first thing you see is a huge golf ball. This ball is the main focus of the park. This post is about the first part of Epcot. The first part is called Future World. This post is going to be part one of the section Future World. Future World has many smaller sections

Future World:

Spaceship Earth-

Attraction 1 is Spaceship Earth. This attraction is inside the golf ball. You ride in a cart up through the ball and down again. This ride is very slow. In the beginning of the ride they take your picture and put it on a figure that takes you through the story of communication. There are questions they ask you that leads to a story about you through the scenes they show.

Universe of Energy-

Second is Ellen's Energy Adventure. You take a ride with Ellen DeGeneres as you go back to the time of dinosaurs.

Mission: SPACE-

Third is Mission Space. This ride has two different adventures to choose from. One is the Orange Team. This team has more intense training. This ride may cause motion sickness because it gives you the feeling you are traveling around in space. The second adventure is the Green Team. This is a less intense training.

Test Track-

Fourth is Test Track. Before you get on the ride you have the option to design your own car and it will be on a screen in front of you. This is a car ride that takes you through some extremes of driving. There is a cold room, hot room, brick road, curves, hills, brake tests, and more. Once you go through all the driving tests you drive onto a race track and go really fast.

Innoventions-

Fifth is Innoventions East and Innoventions West. There are many different exhibits. One is about storms and how you can protect your family when a bad storm approaches. The second one is how to use math, science, and engineering to make your own thrill ride. The third is fun with colors.

  1. I love your blog. Like most people, I'm a fan of the happiest place on Earth. I was just there over spring break! I didn't get to go to Epcot though. But, the changes that they're making look awesome. When we go next year I'll definitely have to check it out. Thanks for the update!

  2. I've never been to Epcot, but I'd love to go on Mission Space! I'd probably go on the Orange team to see what it's like.
